HDP'li Van Erciş Belediyesi'ne de İçişleri Bakanlığı'nca kayyum atandı.
Van'ın Erciş ilçesinde hakkındaki "terör soruşturması" nedeniyle gözaltında bulunan HDP'li Belediye Başkanı Yıldız Çetin'in yerine Kaymakam Nuri Mehmetbeyoğlu, "Belediye Başkan Vekili" olarak görevlendirildi.
